Let all, who believe in the redeeming work of the Lord and hence received the right to be called children of God, pray to the Father to hear the cry of His people and come down (as He did in the past) to deliver us.<BR/><BR/>But, if it is a call for all Ethiopians to struggle to throw the shackles of injustice, poverty ...being visited upon Ethiopia, I hate to say it but TRUTH be told it is a non-starter. I like Ethio-Zagol's pragmatism. What percentage of Ethiopians at home have access to the internet? FEW! <BR/><BR/>Those of us who live abroad for the most part are really out of touch with reality on the ground. Reading and hearing about the conditions in Ethiopia IS NOT EQUAL to living day-in-day out in Ethiopia and thus render our legitimacy to organize and lead a social movement shaky. <BR/><BR/>A grassroot social movement requires persistent collective actions in which the populace is alerted, educated and mobilized, over years and decades, to challenge the rulers and the whole society to redress social problems and restore critical social values of justice and equality. <BR/> <BR/><BR/>So, my message to the 'Politicians' abroad is this: <BR/>Help those at home who undertake a political movement from the ground up.
