Do u remember guys,when the weyanes were marching to addis ,they were tearing the Ethiopian flag,After they had entered to addis ,they had destroyed The Ethiopian institutions starting from the ethiopian military ,security forces ,airforce and so on ,at the same time they had given our x - province to ertrea including asseb.In due course the weyanes had asked UN (united nation) for a recognition of our province ertrea as another country ,never in the world had happened like this , a government who has asked for the succession of its own territory .This all odd staffed had happened when siye was in power .
ofcourse siye had contributed in fighting shabya ,when shabya was marching against the Ethiopian army in 1998 .siye had mobilized the Ethiopian ppl ,The heroic ethiopian ppl beated shabya , for that part we have to recognise his contribution.

I don\'t know why many people talk about Siye. At one time he was prominent ERDF man and now think of him as any ordinary person he does nto do any thing in ethiopian politics. Please don\'t give place by talking much about him. If you look his previous record, he was one of those who spoiled ethiopia history for every and cannot be excused for that, he will not be a man that contribute something good for ethiopia. Never forget he is the man who send out his dogs ( he was minister of defence at that time) to kill inocent Oromos when OLF went out against woyane. However there is no proof that he stood for Ethiopian Unity but his arrogance had no bounds !one instance is the steps he took to destroy Ethiopian Airlines by dismissing on one single day, soon after he came to power 30 very experienced management Personnel who had questioned his policy .

I really feel sorry for this man. Regardless of his political views and association with TPLF, he deserves a fair and speedy trial. To be frank with you, I had my disagreements with him concerning Article 39 but truly admired him when he stood up and defended our country from the unwarranted agression of the Eritrean regime. If it wasn't for Meles, who stopped the 2000 war, Ethiopia by now would have had a sea port of its own and Isayas Afewerki would have been a history. Siye is a patriotic and nationalist fellow who could unite Ethiopians who are currently divided along ethnic lines. We ethiopians need people like Siye with unique characterstics at this crucial time in our history.
